I made this page a while back, after I found these photos in a shoe box at my parents' place. This is definitely the epitome of '80's style!

Better Late than Never!
Look at this little guy! Isn't he gorgeous? We clash on a daily basis, but whenever I see this picture, all I see is how happy and beautiful he is. He is heading off to grade 2 in a couple of weeks, so this page was a long time coming, but then again, it was in a frame on our wall for a while. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
Supplies used (all CTMH): Notebook Level 1 and Level 2 paper packets, Annotations My Acrylix stamp set

Needed a Thank You Card in a Rush!
We received an unexpected (and very yummy gift) from Jason's Uncle Bryon last night! So of course he deserves a handmade thank you card! I whipped this one up amid kids fighting and screaming, and I am pretty much out of adhesive, hence the staples, so it ended up very simple, but I kind of like how it turned out. Anyway, the sketch is from Mojo Monday 101, and the colors are from Color Me Monday on Jeannette Lynton's blog (Desert Sand, Olive, Indian Corn Blue, and Sunflower).
Supplies: Olive, Indian Corn Blue, and Desert Sand cardstock, Sunflower patterned paper from Animal Cookies Level 2 paper packet, Dream Wishes and Dainty Thoughts My Acrylix stamp sets, and Desert Sand Exclusive Ink
Other: twill from my stash

Sweet Feet
I just love these photos taken of my daughter over 4 years ago, but for some reason they didn't get scrapbooked until last night. Maybe it was the mish-mash of colors, but I finally found some paper to go with them, and I like how it turned out. I may still add some journaling around the top section. I found my inspiration and title from an ad for a book called "My Creative Companion 2".
Supplies used (all CTMH): Blue Ribbon Level 2 Paper Pack, Classmate Alphabet My Acrylix stamp set, Exclusive Inks stamp pad in Black, Exclusive Inks marker in Black.

Sunjit Page #2
This is the page I was wanting to post of Sunjit, but I couldn't find the photo. What do you think, Sunjit? Brings back memories, eh? Check out the picture at the top left. I call that year (1998) my chunky phase!
This was a pre-CTMH page, so all of the supplies are different than what I've been using lately, now that I get the CTMH discount!
Supplies used: Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey patterned paper, Cosmo Cricket rub-ons, Making Memories stickers and foil rub-ons, Creative Memories pen.

Sunjit Page #1
I warned my friend Sunjit that I was going to post a layout of her on this blog! This wasn't the one I was thinking of, so stay tuned for Sunjit Page #2, coming soon. This one also includes Diane, and for a while, we were like the Three Muskateers or something! Fun times. Anyway, I used all CTMH products (paper from Boom Di Ada Level 2, die cuts from a Dazzling Die Cuts kit, and alpha stamps from Classmate Alphabet My Acrylix stamp set), except the little stickers at the bottom (from deep in my stash somewhere). This was a very easy page to put together!
On a completely random side note, I went for a doctor's appointment today, and we were able to hear the fetal heartbeat! My husband and kids were in the office as well, so they got to share in this special moment too. So, yeah, there's something living inside of me, again! Kind of makes it even more real, doesn't it?

Mojo Monday 100 Day 3 and Color Me Monday
Here is a card I made today, and let me tell ya, I spent waaaaaay too long on it, but I love it! Everything I used is from CTMH: colors are from Jeannette Lynton's Color Me Monday Challenge, Indian Corn Blue, Creme Brulee, Tulip, and Cocoa, and the stamp set is Ms. On the Go. I think she's just so cute! The design inspiration comes from a blog called Mojo Monday, and they have a new card sketch up every Monday, only this week, they are celebrating their 100th week, so they are having a new sketch every day. This is the sketch from yesterday.

Well, this picture was supposed to go under the other posts, but it's just not happening. Oh well, like I said, I've never done this before.
On a side note, I'm not much of a card maker. I find it much more difficult that scrapbooking, so the CTMH card-making books, Originals and now Wishes, make it much easier for newbies like me. The star card below is almost exactly the same as the one in Wishes for the pattern "Middle Ground", just different colors and less embellishment.
Well, I am off to do my chores. Being a domestic goddess sure is no picnic!
First Ever Post!!!
Okay, I'm a little nervous about this because I've never done it, but I guess I'll just try it and see what happens.
The other day I had a hankering to try some cards with some leftover bamboo cardstock. I searched through the Close to My Heart Summer 2009 catalogue and found this pallette on page 78-79 (Bamboo, Blush, Hollyhock, Juniper). This is what I came up with:
