My Sleeping Beauty

Isn't she gorgeous? Well, I guess you can't really tell from the angle of these shots so much, teehee! She did this so many times, just crashing in the middle of the day wherever she happened to be. My favourite is the top one on the left page - she was looking at the ladies in the Sears catalogue, and fell asleep folded over on it.

I started this layout as a submission for a Design Dollies challenge. They wanted the colours turquoise, white, and lime green, but I kinda missed the deadline. Oh well, I do love those three colours together, and it's a bit of a departure from the regular pink I would use for a girlie layout. I also used a sketch from Becky Higgins' "Creative Sketches 2" for inspiration.

Supplies (all CTMH): White Daisy cardstock, Exclusive Inks stamp pad in Black, Felicity My Acrylix stamp set

Other: Bo Bunny patterned paper, Limeade Sugar Coated Cardstock and jewels by Doodlebug, black fine tip pen from Creative Memories, turquoise and green ink from Color Box
