Yay, first page of the year, completed! I used my January Counterfeit Kit to pull this one together, and a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:
That's my boy, Nolan, before and after getting his braces on this summer. Of course, when I asked him to smile, this is the reaction I got!

As you can probably tell, I didn't deviate much from the sketch - it seemed to go with my photos perfectly as is.

ReplyDeleteYay for first page of the year - it's a winner, I'd say. And I loved all those goofy faces my son gave me, they are a hoot to scrap! Alas, he's outgrown that stage, so enjoy his while you can.
ReplyDeleteSuper layout! Love that background paper it's perfect for the colors in the photos. Yep we go through this with our grandsons too they seem to hit an age and we can't get a smile :) You did great with the pictures you have and it shows a fun side to him :)
