"Captured" with CKC and LGS

Yay, first page of the year, completed!  I used my January Counterfeit Kit to pull this one together, and a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:

That's my boy, Nolan, before and after getting his braces on this summer.  Of course, when I asked him to smile, this is the reaction I got!

I really like how the colours of the papers go with the photos!

Here's the sketch I used:
As you can probably tell, I didn't deviate much from the sketch - it seemed to go with my photos perfectly as is.

  6. Yay for first page of the year - it's a winner, I'd say. And I loved all those goofy faces my son gave me, they are a hoot to scrap! Alas, he's outgrown that stage, so enjoy his while you can.

  7. Super layout! Love that background paper it's perfect for the colors in the photos. Yep we go through this with our grandsons too they seem to hit an age and we can't get a smile :) You did great with the pictures you have and it shows a fun side to him :)

  12. I love that face!!! LoL!!! Repeat, Repeat, Repeat!!! My boys have tons of photos like those and now that they are in their late 20s and early 30s they love looking at them and they still laugh at me for groaning when I look at them! Fabulous layout!!!
