First Layout of the New Year!

I've been working on this layout for a couple of days, but I officially finished it yesterday, so it counts as #1 in the 2010 Layout Challenge! Woohoo! Remember, I've joined a challenge group, and everyone has their own goal, but mine is to complete 120 layouts this year. I don't think I'll differentiate between double-page and single-page, to me it just depends on how many photos I need to put down.

Anyway, this turned out to be a very simple layout using a pattern from Cherish, called "Portrait Collection". I changed the right side a bit (the original pattern had two 5 x 3.5vertical photos and a journaling block), and I didn't have any Crystal Blue cardstock, so I sponged my White Daisy cardstock. The patterned paper is from a bulk pack of Emporium B&T duos, so I wanted to use it up and make a layout I could do as a workshop without ordering any supplies, but after further contemplation (and even seeking my husband's opinion!), I've decided it's a bit simple to use for a workshop. So, I'm not sure what to do as a kind of "club" layout. If any of you CTMH consultants have any ideas or suggestions for me, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks for looking, and good luck getting started on your crafting goals this year!

Supplies (all CTMH): White Daisy cardstock, Emporium B&T duos, Exclusive Inks stamp pad in Crystal Blue, sponge, Exclusive Inks marker in Cocoa, Classmate Alphabet My Acrylix stamp set

Other: Versamark Ink, clear embossing powder, Little Yellow Bicycle journaling spot
