OK, I'm loving this layout, just sooooooo much!!! Hope I don't sound arrogant by saying that, but it just turned out way better than I expected, not least of all because of this sketch from Creative Scrappers:
What do you think of the background paper? The pink Bazzill cardstock was a bit bright for my photo, so I dipped a wet paintbrush in Perfect Pearls, and brushed it all over! Isn't that so cool? The photo's not that great, and nothing was really going on that I can remember, so I just journaled about how it was to bring home our new baby Brenna (even though she's a month old in the pic). I guess maybe I'm a bit nostalgic seeing we won't see this place, maybe ever again, and Brenna won't remember it at all! I think this will be a nice page for her to look at when she's all grown up (sniff).

I agree with you Roxy, I love this layout too! You are so much braver than I am with trying things like the wet perfect pearls etc.

Oh Rox, this is gorgeous, how clever are you with the perfect pearls, that is a fantastic idea......and I had to laugh re: nothing going on in this photo and then when you explained you won't maybe ever see this house again, and how nostalgic (love that word) that feels, there you have the most fantastic journalling....perfect and I love that sketch, trying hard to fit it all in, I am so slow with scrapping, I have been on my current layout for 2 sittings already....but should finish it today...HOPEFULLY. Just love this. Have a fantastic Easter with your family and probably the first where Brenna will get super excited with all the bright eggs and not to mention the chocolate....Melxx
