For the past three school years, I've taken photos of Nolan on the first day of school. It's pretty cool to see how much he's grown and changed, and even though the school year is almost over, I can still remember the excitement of that first day!
So this week's colour challenge at Design Dollies is to use Kraft with bright colours. I only had a few scraps of Kraft, and using them on this layout, I decided that I need to buy some more Kraft paper, because it is pretty cool. I probably would have used white instead if it weren't for this challenge, so I'm glad I got to try something out of the ordinary, at least for me. I totally cased this layout from one in an old Creating Keepsakes magazine, from July 2009. When I nurse in the middle of the night, I go through all my old mags for inspiration. How's that for multi-tasking? This is layout #25 of 120 for the year!
Supplies: patterned paper from CTMH's Animal Cookies Level 2 paper pack (blue stripe) and Karen Foster (alpha), unknown Kraft paper and ribbon, Sandylion stickers, and Creative Memories pen
