These papers came in a prize package I won from Design Dollies, and I love 'em 'cause they're just so masculine! When I saw the one patterned paper, I just knew that I wanted to cut it up to make a banner with the shapes, so when I saw Sketch 118 at Creative Scrappers with the banner in one corner, I knew now was the time to do it. I followed the sketch quite closely this time, and the page came together very quickly. What do you think?
Supplies: patterned papers from Scrap Within Reach, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, American Crafts Thickers, Tim Holtz Grungeboard, Distress Ink, and Perfect Pearls, Sakura Gelly Roll pen
P.S. this is layout #54 for the year, only 66 left to do!
I love this layout, you're right, those papers are just the perfect masculine collection, I think that is an awesome twist on the shape for the banner too. Great work, hope your hubby likes it, I will have to start working with more manly colours for my almost 4 yr old too. I have not seen this brand over here. Great work my girl. Hope you win the challenge. Melxx
